I helped a woman bring her dog to the Vet in a baby stroller this morning.
I held the door while she was navigating this beautiful little puppy into the office for her first set of shots. Ten weeks old, she said she'd just gotten her, in part, "because my other dog is twelve and I can't imagine being alone. This dog helps so much."
Yeah. Know what you mean.
A dog creates a presence that fills your heart with love. Loneliness never comes to a home with a dog.
Work it out with our pet. Give that pet all the forgiveness, patience and love that you possibly can.
I didn't. And it affected my marriage, my relationship with my kids, and the way I see myself. Whatever I was thinking makes absolutely no sense to me now. And I wish I had him back.
I don't want to write much today.
I just miss my big guy.
