POWERFUL & ENCOURANGING

Ed’s mission in life is to help as many people  as possible to live the best life possible, therefore he offers both Life Coaching for individuals and groups, as well as Motivational Speaking.

The main difference between the two is that a Motivational Speaker is like a street light, which shows a path to each and everyone passing by . . . and a Life Coach is like a headlight on a car which shows the path to the one driving, and stays with them as long as they are driving. Both provide a reason to move forward.

Ed’s mission in life is to help as many people  as possible to live the best life possible.

It’s a great day to start something big!

When it comes to motivational topics, you get to choose!

If you have a topic that is not listed below, don’t worry, Ed will speak on your favorite topic based on empirical research. When you add Ed’s personality to a really good topic, you can have confidence that your audience will feel motivated!

Perseverance

Perseverance is a common topic in Ed’s inspirational speeches. He talks about overcoming obstacles to achieve dreams. He often tells Sylvester Stallone’s story. Stallone persevered to get into acting and to get “Rocky” made into a movie. Stallone was rejected by agents hundreds of times before “Rocky” became a huge hit. Ed uses real-life examples in his speeches, to help your audience better understand the power of perseverance.

Goal Setting

Goal setting is another one of Ed’s favorite topics. He talks about how to achieve personal and financial goals. He encourages writing your goals down on a regular basis in order to help you achieve them. Ed says this practice helps you clearly identify what you want. Famous people throughout history have discussed the importance of setting goals. Eds philosophy is the same as former President Ronald Reagan: “My philosophy of life is that if we make up our mind what we are going to make of our lives, then work hard toward that goal, we never lose - somehow we win out!”

Positive Thinking

As an inspirational speaker, Eds goal is to help people change their attitudes. He helps turn negativity into optimism. Dr. Norman Vincent Peale’s book “The Power of Positive Thinking” is often referenced in his speeches. In this book, Peale says that positive affirmations can help you eliminate self-doubt. “Feelings of confidence depend upon the type of thoughts that habitually occupy your mind,” says Peale.

Time Management

A common complaint is that there are not enough hours in the day to get everything done. Ed speaks about time management to help people make the most of each day. In “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People,” Stephen R. Covey writes about time management. Covey says it is important to focus on your highest priorities.

Failure

Failure may not seem like an inspirational topic, but Ed talks about coping with failure. In his speeches he tells audiences that a failure can be viewed as a learning opportunity. You can learn from past mistakes and hopefully avoid them in the future. The fact that the legendary Babe Ruth struck out 1,330 times is often used to show that failure can go hand-in-hand with success.
