√ The Virus Anxiety Two-Step Stomp
A simple, yet effective two-step process to beat your fears of the virus, calm your spirit and bring about peace of mind!
The virus dies in peace of mind!
The virus will not penetrate a calm spirit. And, yes, this is another post on how to beat your fears of the virus.
A better way.
I know. You’ve been inundated with suggestions on how to cope with this thing, from binge watching TV, to learning an instrument, to crocheting and even playing hide and seek with your kids (HINT: They hide, you seek, read for ten minutes. And if they yell, “Are you still looking? The answer is “Wow, I’ve looked everywhere. Stay where you and I’ll keep at it.” Then read for another ten minutes.)
Most of the stuff you’ll see is just a longer version of that crapola, except the people who write this tripe actually think that you’re going to get up and do them. What kind of a doofus writes this stuff?
Oh, wait…
But this is just so freakin’ basic and sooooo easy to do. And it works!
A way that works!
Guaranteed!
If you just do this, all of the rest you do today will make you feel like you’re actually accomplishing something even if all you do is keep playing hide and seek.
Four powerful words:
Inhale belief, exhale gratitude.
That’s it.
“Belief” is saying these words in your head on the inhale: “I’ve got this”
All you have to do is this: Breathe in 1…2…with your lips, mouth the words:
I’ve.
Got.
This.
That’s Belief.
Then, Exhale out, 1…2… As you exhale, mouth the words, “Thank you.”
That’s Gratitude.
Congratulations.
“Faith Listens; Gratitude Speaks.” - Sean-Son Edwards
You just confirmed your feeling of Faith and reestablished your energy of Gratitude.
Your perspective just changed. And it will continue to change.
Change with every breath.
When you inhale the words, “I’ve got this” you reaffirm: You ground yourself into the moment. You get one second stronger. You change your perspective. You give yourself permission. You state your belief in yourself.
When you exhale the words “Thank you,” you believe. You stand in a second of Faith, that “mustard seed” of believing that, to quote the late and wonderful Bob Marley, “every little things gonna be all right.”
Breathing these simple words will get you through.
A Note From My Heart
You’ve got this: Yeah, you do!
Take time to do this at least once a day.
The effects are lasting, and the practice is brief.
These two breaths will add adhesion and balance to your day. Every day. Until this Virus leaves.
And this will help this thing exit your life a lot faster.
